Crocheted Flower doggie collar...

The other day while blog surfing I came across a wonderful site called Cozy Home Scenes.  She had made the most adorable crocheted flower dog collar for her sweet Holly.  You can find it here. 

So being the doggie lover that I am I knew that I had to make them for my babies.

Lucille is definitely NOT camera shy.  As a matter of fact I took about 10 or more pics of her in this pose.  She sits so still when she see the camera come out.

PB Knock off bench....

We have been wanting/needing a bench at the end of our bed and have had such a hard time finding on that we liked and would fit our needs.

We liked this one from Pottery Barn, but not the $399 plus shipping price tag.

Then we came across Ana's site. She is totally amazing.  She came up with knock off plans for this bench.

So hubby and I went to Lowe's and purchased the necessary materials for around $50.

Once the pieces were cut the bench went together very quickly.  I did however opt not to put a back on ours as I just wanted to leave it open.

Here is the finished bench...

Please excuse the floor.  We had a water leak and it demolished our wood floor so for now we get to live with stained concrete.

One more of the front.  As you can see hubby keeps his work boots in the cubbies so they are more convenient for him when he gets dressed for work.
